This is a wonderfully easy, tasty salad that has an unusual ingredient: Popcorn! It was the rave hit of a couples gathering we attended. Try it you'll love it too!

Ingredients
- 10 slices bacon, fried crisp, and crumbled
- 3/4 cup mayonaise
- 1 cup celery, chopped, and diced
- 1 1/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 (8 oz) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 1/4 cup shredded carrots
- 2 tablespoons minced chives
- 6 cups popped popcorn
How To Make popcorn salad

Step 1Fry, and crumble bacon, setting aside.

Step 2In a large bowl, mayonnaise, chopped, diced celery, half of the shredded cheddar cheese, drained sliced water chestnuts, shredded carrots, and minced chives. Mix well.

Step 3Add popcorn, and stir to coat.

Step 4Top with rest of the shredded cheese, and the crumbled bacon. Serve with a smile!:D
