Great with any steak/beef dinners or with cookouts. A great replacement for people not wanting to load up on carbs (i.e. macaroni salad), or with celiac disease

Ingredients

  • 1 package cabbage or broccoli slaw
  • 1 bunch green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup toasted silvered almonds
  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 packages ramen noodles and soup mix

How To Make oriental cabbage salad

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl mix the cabbage, uncooked ramen (break into small pieces), and onions.
  • Step 2
    In a small bowl mix sugar, oil, vinegar and packets of dry soup mix.
  • Step 3
    Pour dressing over salad 2 hours before serving, add the nuts and seeds just before serving.
