Ingredients For low low fat bean salad

  • 1/4 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 tsp
    cumin
  • 3 can
    your choice 15 oz beans, drained and rinsed
  • 8 oz
    can corn, drained
  • 2 c
    celery, chopped or thinly sliced
  • 1/2 c
    red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 c
    chopped cilantro
  • 2 Tbsp
    lime juice
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1 tsp
    minced garlic

How To Make low low fat bean salad

  • 1
    Heat oil in frying pan over medium high heat. Add cumin and garlic and cook 30 seconds. Add to small bowl and then add the salt, pepper, cilantro, lime and mix well.

    In a large bowl dump drained beans, corn, celery and onion. Add rest of the ingredients and mix well. Let sit overnight or several hours to blend flavors.
