My husband was served a corn salad as a side dish at a restaurant in Kona, Hawaii. He quickly decided he was going to re-create this at home. He nailed it, even better than the restaurant! It has so many flavors and has a tropical touch!

Ingredients

  • 3 - corn on the cobs
  • 1 - maui sweet onion, diced
  • 1 - red pepper, diced
  • 1 small canned pineapple, diced
  • - teriyaki sauce
  • - steak seasoning, to taste
  • - chili powder, to taste
  • 1 - avocado, diced
  • - cilantro, fresh

How To Make johnny's aloha corn salad

  • Step 1
    Slice corn off cobs. No pre cooking needed!
  • Step 2
    Place corn, diced onion, red pepper, pineapple, teriyaki sauce, steak seasoning, chili powder in a pan on BBQ or stove.
  • Step 3
    When vegetables are cooked, remove from heat and add diced avocado and as much cilantro as you like. Serve.
