My husband was served a corn salad as a side dish at a restaurant in Kona, Hawaii. He quickly decided he was going to re-create this at home. He nailed it, even better than the restaurant! It has so many flavors and has a tropical touch!

corn on the cobs

maui sweet onion, diced
1
red pepper, diced
1 small
canned pineapple, diced
teriyaki sauce
steak seasoning, to taste
chili powder, to taste

avocado, diced
cilantro, fresh

How to Make Johnny's Aloha Corn Salad

Step-by-Step

  • 1Slice corn off cobs. No pre cooking needed!
  • 2Place corn, diced onion, red pepper, pineapple, teriyaki sauce, steak seasoning, chili powder in a pan on BBQ or stove.
  • 3When vegetables are cooked, remove from heat and add diced avocado and as much cilantro as you like. Serve.
