- 1 can (14 oz./398 ml) hearts of palm, rinsed, drained and sliced
- 4 tablespoons light sour cream
- 1/2 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice, or more to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon fennel seeds, ground
- 1 small pinch ground himalayan sea salt, or to taste
- 1 small pinch white pepper, or to taste
- 2 large lettuce leaves, washed and torn
How To Make hearts of palm salad

Step 1Rinse the vegetable thoroughly in a colander, drain and then slice.

Step 2In a bowl, add sour cream, lemon juice, ground fennel seeds, sea salt and white pepper; stir to combine.

Step 3Divide the torn lettuce among 4 small plates and place the sliced hearts of palm on top. Lightly drizzle the dressing on top. Serves 4
