Ingredients

  • 1 - hean napa or bok choy cabbage, shredded
  • 3 - green onions, sliced thinly
  • 1/2 - red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 package (3-oz) ramen noodles with seasoning pack
  • 1 package (6-oz) slivered almonds
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • - golden rasins for garnish, if desired

How To Make crunchy ramen cabbage salad

  • Step 1
    Preheat the broiler.
  • Step 2
    Shred the cabbage and slice the onions, and mix together in a large salad bowl.
  • Step 3
    Break up the noodles into a broiler pan. Add the almonds and sesame seeds, then put under broiler for 2 minutes. Be careful not to scorch the sesame seeds.
  • Step 4
    In a jar with a tight lid, combine the olive oil, sugar, rice vinegar, and salt with the contents of the seasoning pack. Cover the jar and shake well to blend the dressing.
  • Step 5
    Pour the dressing over the salad. Add the toasted sesame seeds, almonds, and noodles. Toss to combine.
  • Step 6
    Garnish with golden raisins, if desired. Enjoy!
