hean napa or bok choy cabbage, shredded

green onions, sliced thinly
1/2
red onion, thinly sliced
1 pkg
(3-oz) ramen noodles with seasoning pack
1 pkg
(6-oz) slivered almonds
1 Tbsp
sesame seeds
1/2 c
extra virgin olive oil
1/4 c
sugar
3 Tbsp
rice vinegar
1/4 tsp
salt
golden rasins for garnish, if desired

How to Make Crunchy Ramen Cabbage Salad

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat the broiler.
  • 2Shred the cabbage and slice the onions, and mix together in a large salad bowl.
  • 3Break up the noodles into a broiler pan. Add the almonds and sesame seeds, then put under broiler for 2 minutes. Be careful not to scorch the sesame seeds.
  • 4In a jar with a tight lid, combine the olive oil, sugar, rice vinegar, and salt with the contents of the seasoning pack. Cover the jar and shake well to blend the dressing.
  • 5Pour the dressing over the salad. Add the toasted sesame seeds, almonds, and noodles. Toss to combine.
  • 6Garnish with golden raisins, if desired. Enjoy!
