An tropical take on an old favourite. Bacon and pineapple give this a great twist.

Ingredients

  • - 4 strips of bacon. trimmed and diced.
  • - 4 cups thinly sliced cabbage
  • - 1 large carrot, grated
  • - 2 celery stalks, sliced super fine
  • - 2/3 cup firmly packed, well drained pineapple pieces
  • - 3 green onions, thinly sliced
  • - 1/3 cup, your choice of coleslaw dressing
  • - 1/2 teaspoon celery salt

How To Make betty's tropical coleslaw

  • Step 1
    Heat a non stick pan over a medium heat. Cook the bacon to your liking. Chop into smallish pieces and cool slightly.
  • Step 2
    Place all the ingredients to a large bowl, stir well and serve.
