  • 2 medium cucumbers
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dill weed
  • 2/3 cup white vinegar

How To Make german-style cucumber salad

  • Step 1
    Peel and thinly slice cucumbers. Toss cucumbers with salt. Cover and refrigerate several hours. Drain. Press out all liquid. Stir together vinegar, sugar, pepper and dill weed until sugar is dissolved. Add cucumbers, toss, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Makes 4 servings.
