I HAVE BEEN MAKN THIS FOR YEARS. EVERY GET TOGETHER REQUESTS THIS SALAD AND ALWAYS IS THE FIRST TO GO.....EVERYONE ENJOYS!

Ingredients

  • 1 - head of iceberg lettuce, chopped
  • 1 pound chopped meat (or turkey) cooked n cooled to room temp.
  • 8 ounces bag of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 large tomato, chopped
  • 1 large green pepper, chopped
  • 1 can black olives, sliced
  • 1 medium purple onion, sliced
  • 8 OZ bottles 1 each of reg,italian and french dressing
  • 1 - bag of nacho cheese flavored tortilla chips (crushed)

How To Make taco salad

  • Step 1
    IN A LARGE BOWL COMBINE LETTUCE, TOMATO, GREEN PEPPER, OLIVES, PURPLE ONION, (COOKED N COOLED) CHOPPED MEAT, BAG OF SHREDDED CHEDDAR CHEESE.
  • Step 2
    IN A SMALL BOWL MIX THE TWO DRESSINGS AND POUR OVER SALAD WHEN READY TO EAT.
  • Step 3
    KEEP CRUSHED NACHO CHEESE TORTILLAS ON SIDE FOR SPRINKLING ONTOP EACH SERVING.....N ENJOY - EVERYONE ELSE DOES!
