The flavors of the fresh vegetables are perfectly framed by the addition of the Parmesan cheese. It is easy to add diced cooked chicken or turkey to create a delicious lunch. Ingredients

  • 5 cups loosely packed fresh spinach leaves, stems removed and torn
  • 6 medium grape tomatoes, halved
  • 2 medium ripe avocados, peeled, seeded and coarsely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons thinly sliced fresh basil leaves
  • 3 tablespoons diced sweet red onion
  • 1/4 cup shaved parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup bacon ranch salad dressing (or your favorite)

How To Make red and green garden salad

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, toss first six ingredients together. Serve immediately or chill up to 30 minutes before serving time. Just before serving, add dressing and toss to evenly coat. Serves 4.
