Ingredients
- 1 - head iceberg lettuce
- 3 or 4 - ripe tomatoes, cut in eighths
- 1 cup swiss cheese, cut in julienne strips
- 1 cup ham, cut in julienne strips, or turkey or shrimp
- 1/2 cup green spanish olives, pitted
- 4 teaspoons grated romano cheese
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
- 1 cup extra-virgin spanish olive oil
- 8 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 2 teaspoons oregano, dried
- 4 teaspoons lemon juice
How To Make '1905' salad

Step 1Toss all salad ingredients in a bowl, except Romano Cheese.

Step 2Mix garlic, oregano, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Beat until smooth with a wire wisk. Add olive oil, gradually beating to form an emulsion. Stir in vinegar and lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.

Step 3Add dressing to salad and toss well. Add Romano cheese and toss one more time.
