    mini marshmallows
  • 16 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1 c
  • 1 c
  • 16 oz
    cool whip
  • 2 can(s)
    pineapple tidbits
  • 1 jar(s)
    maraschino cherries, sliced in half
  • 1 bag(s)
    coconut, unsweetened
  • 1 bag(s)
    chopped pecans
  • 1 large can(s)
    fruit cocktail

How to Make Southern Style Ambrosia


  1. Blend cream cheese, sugar, and cream.
  2. Add Cool Whip. Stir until smooth.
  3. Set aside 1/2 of cherries and 1/3 of coconut. Add remaining fruits, nuts, marshmallows, and coconut to cream mixture and blend.
  4. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.
  5. Before serving, top with reserved cherries and ring bowl with coconut.
