This is an outstanding salad! What flavors!! Very healthy and tasty. Serve as a main course or as a side salad to a main course.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • - pepper to taste
  • 1 - firm, but ripe pear, peeled, cored and cut into 1/2" pieces
  • 1/3 cup dried tart cherries
  • 8 ounces pkg organic baby greens
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup toasted pecans

How To Make organic greens w/ fruit and nuts

  • Step 1
    In lg bowl, whisk together garlic, oil, vinegar, thyme and pepper to taste.
  • Step 2
    Gently stir in pears, and cherries. Add the baby greens, chicken and pecans. Toss gently to coat.
