This is an outstanding salad! What flavors!! Very healthy and tasty. Serve as a main course or as a side salad to a main course.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 3 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 Tbsp
    red wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp
    dried thyme
  • ·
    pepper to taste
  • 1
    firm, but ripe pear, peeled, cored and cut into 1/2" pieces
  • 1/3 c
    dried tart cherries
  • 8 oz
    pkg organic baby greens
  • 2 c
    shredded cooked chicken breasts
  • 1/2 c
    toasted pecans

How to Make Organic greens w/ fruit and nuts

Step-by-Step

  1. In lg bowl, whisk together garlic, oil, vinegar, thyme and pepper to taste.
  2. Gently stir in pears, and cherries. Add the baby greens, chicken and pecans. Toss gently to coat.
