I found this in a Southern Living Cookbook when I was looking for something different for Thanksgiving. This recipe can be used as a salad or dessert and my family loves it!

  • 16 oz
    can whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 8 oz
    can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 small
    can mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 8 oz
    container sour cream (can use low fat)

How to Make Frosty Cranberry Salad


  1. Mix all ingredients together and pour into a 9x5 loaf pan. Cover and freeze until firm. To serve remove from freezer let sit at room temperature about 5 minutes, slice and serve on lettuce leaves, if desired.
  2. This can also be put into paper lined muffin cups for individual servings. Just peel away the paper and serve. Delicious as a salad or I like it also as a frozen fruit dessert.
