Perfect fruit and nut salad w/ bacon, and who doesn't love bacon? And the dressing just brings out the flavors so wonderfully.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 3 slices center-cut bacon
  • 1 - lg pear, chopped
  • 1 - lg red apple, chopped
  • 1/4 cup peanuts, chopped
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese, i used low-fat
  • 1/4 cup light poppyseed dressing
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

How To Make chopped autumn salad w/ poppyseed dressing

  • Step 1
    Microwave bacon on a papr-toweled plate until crisp. Let cool, then crumble. Add all ingredients except dressing to a lg serving bowl.
  • Step 2
    Drizzle w/ dressing and balsamic vinegar. Toss gently to coat.
