I found this recipe years ago on a old bread crumb container and changed it to fit our familys tastes. It makes a very dense well flavored meat loaf; and the left overs make the best meatloaf sandwiches you have ever had. It slices very thin when cold.

Each one inch slice is is 7 points on the points plus weight watchers plan.

This will be very thin when putting it together don't be afraid it will turn out.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb
    louis rich ground turkey
  • 2
    eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 c
    onion flakes, dehydrated
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    italian dried bread crumbs
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • 1 c
    fat free milk

How to Make Meat Loaf Italian Style

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine all ingedients. Mix lightly but thoroughly. Press meat mixture into 9x5x3-inch loaf pan.
  2. Bake in moderate oven 350 degrees for 1 to 1-1/4 hours.
  3. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
