Mar-a-Lago Turkey Burger
I buy the Turkey at Sam’s (5 lbs). I adjust the ingredients, I use 5 apples, & I double a lot of the other ingredients. I do not use Salt at all. I added the jalapeno, adjust to your spice tolerance.
Makes grill 15 burgers, we freeze 13, microwave 1 minutes.

1/4 cscallions thinly sliced
1/2 cceleryfinely chopped
3 mediumgranny smith apples , peeled and diced
1/8 colive oil
4 lbturkey breast ground
1 Tbspblack pepper
2 tsptabasco chipotle pepper sauce
1/2 bunchparsley, finely chopped
1/4 cmajor grey's chutney
1 mediumjalepeno pepper chopped fine
How to Make Mar-a-Lago Turkey Burger
- Sauté the scallions, celery and apples in the canola oil until tender. Let cool.
Serve with a side of Mar-a-Lago Pear Chutney and your favorite toasted bread, pita or hamburger roll.
- Place the ground turkey in a large mixing bowl. Add sautéed items and the remaining ingredients. Shape into eight 6-ounce burgers. (Original recipe called for 8 ounce burgers.)
Refrigerate for 4 hours.
- Season the turkey burgers pepper. Place on a preheated, lightly oiled grill. Grill each side for 5-7 minutes until meat is thoroughly cooked. Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Serve with a side of Mar-a-Lago Pear Chutney and your favorite toasted bread, pita or hamburger roll.
NOTE: WE EAT OUR WITHOUT A BUN AND USE THE MAJOR GREY'S CHUTNEY.
