Ingredients

1 lbsmoked sausage or kielbasa, cut into 1-inch pieces

1 mediumonion, sliced

2 stalk(s)celery, thiny sliced

1 mediumhead green cabbage, coarsely chopped

1 cchicken broth or vegetable broth
-
1 tspcaraway seeds
-
1/4 tspblack pepper
How to Make SKILLET SAUSAGE AND CABBAGE
- Prepare the celery, onion and cabbage.
- In a large skillet, saute the sausage over medium heat until brown; drain.
- Add the onion and celery to the skillet and saute for 3 to 4 minutes. Add the cabbage and cook, stirring often, for 8 minutes.
- Add the sausage, broth, and remaining ingredients. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook 10 minutes more, or until cabbage is tender.
Serve while hot with mashed or fried potatoes.
