Ingredients
- 1 pound smoked sausage or kielbasa, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 stalks celery, thiny sliced
- 1 medium head green cabbage, coarsely chopped
- 1 cup chicken broth or vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
How To Make skillet sausage and cabbage

Step 1Prepare the celery, onion and cabbage.

Step 2In a large skillet, saute the sausage over medium heat until brown; drain.

Step 3Add the onion and celery to the skillet and saute for 3 to 4 minutes. Add the cabbage and cook, stirring often, for 8 minutes.

Step 4Add the sausage, broth, and remaining ingredients. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook 10 minutes more, or until cabbage is tender. Serve while hot with mashed or fried potatoes.
