Sausage rolls are a traditional food in England and Scotland. Different areas have a different type crust. I use the canned Croissant rolls like Pillsbury .. Cuts out a lot of time & affect taste is great! My Kids being from Georgia love biscuits & sausage gravy. I'm more the roll type lol This is definitely a southern country sausage gravy and nothing like a British or Scot type gravy. I had long chat with an older Scottish couple while there about biscuits & gravy biscuits to them are cookies. Our biscuits are more like their scone. I gave them the recipe and often wonder if they liked
