Mom hated to cook. But this was an easy go to for her. My kids loved it. Easy almost quick lol but easy! Filling warmth You can sub out the nuts. Daughter and I can't eat almonds so I chop walnuts in place. Or omit if ya can't do nuts

Ingredients
- 1 pound bulk pork sausage
- 1 1/2 cups rice, uncooked
- 3 1/3 cups chicken stock
- 1 onion diced
- 1 cup almonds, slivered
- 1 stalk celery diced
- 1 teaspoon rosemary and thyme
How To Make sausage rice casserole

Step 1Cook sausage

Step 2In casserole dish ..Mix onion, celery , rice and chicken stock ( can sub same amount of water and a couple bullion cubes ) thyme and rosemary

Step 3Add cooked sausage and nuts and mix.

Step 4Cover and place in preheated 350° oven for 45 minutes.

Step 5Uncover cook 10 more minutes . Remove from oven and stir. Serve.
