Pork chops too mouth watering to pass by! The pork, apples and raisins are a perfect combination and will really please your palate! This is such an impressive dish and it is so easy and quick to make.

apples, cored, peeled and cubed
1 c
jam, any flavor (peach/apricot)
1/2 c
4 Tbsp
brown sugar
1 c
golden raisins
1 tsp
1/3 c
maple syrup
4 large
thick center cut loin chops
4 Tbsp
good olive oil
1 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp
black pepper

How to Make Pork Chops with Apple Raisin Sauce


  • 1Add cubed apples to medium sauce pan. Stir in water, brown sugar, raisins, jam, cinnamon, maple syrup or jam and salt.
  • 2Place sauce pan over medium heat and cook until tender about ten minutes.
  • 3Season pork chops and put in a skillet with hot olive oil and add the Worcestershire sauce.
  • 4Cook for 6-7 minutes per side. Do not over cook, only until just done in middle of the chop or the meat will be dry and tough.
  • 5When chops are browned and almost done, add the apple mixture to the skillet and simmer for two minutes.
  • 6Place the pork chops onto platte3r, top with the raisin mixture and drizzle any sauce left in the pan over the top of the chops!
