This sandwich can be assembled ahead. After you wrap it in foil, refrigerate until ready to bake. I found this in a Southern Living book some years ago and have used it often, it's so good.

Ingredients

  • 1 - large deli-loaf focaccia or ciabatta bread
  • 1 jar ( 3.5 oz ) prepard pesto sauce
  • 1/2 pound thinly sliced roasted turkey breast
  • 1/2 pound thinley sliced black forest ham
  • 6 slices provolone cheese slices
  • 1/2 - small red onion sliced

How To Make pesto focaccia sandwich

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 400 degreese.
  • Step 2
    Cut bread in half horizontally using a serrated knife. Spread pesto evenly over cut sides. Layer ham, and turkey, provolone cheese, ond red onion over the botton half. Tpo with remaining bread half. Wrap in aluminum foil.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 450 for 10 minutes, cut into 6 wedges.
