This recipe is from a Weight Watchers mini cookbook called "Fast & Fancy Favorites", A Family Cookbook. This recipe is the first WW recipe I ever tried. This is an older book, so the program exchanges, are probably obsolete. I guess I will list them at the bottom, anyway.

  • 2/3 c
    unsweetened pineapple juice, no sugar added
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
  • 8 oz
    can pineapple chunks and juice with no sugar added
  • 2
    green peppers, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 16 oz
    turkey ham, or ham cubed
  • 1/2 c
    cooked rice, per serving (optional)

How to Make Oriental Ham


  1. Stir juice, soy sauce, and cornstarch, in a large skillet, until dissolved.
  2. Add pineapple, onion, pepper, and turkey ham.
  3. Simmer over low heat, until heated through. Divide evenly.
  4. Serve over 1/2 cup cooked rice for each serving, if desired (optional).
  5. Each serving provides: 4 protein exchgs., 1 1/4 vegetable exchgs., 1 fruit exchg., 1 bread exchg., 10 calories optional exchg.
