This is a recipe I created for the Ninja Chopped challenge using packged coleslaw, cauliflower and hotdogs. I had to think on this... but honestly, this is a total winner!! My dh had 3 of his friends over to help him with our bathroom remodel. I made these tonight. All 4 guys DEMOLISHED a loaf each with thier favorite mustard!!! Sans... this is a "guy favorite", tail gate, party MEAL!!! I ended up making 4 more, and the two guys finished those up before I put a stop to that, lol, handed them a beer and then fed my children!! Even though this was a Ninja Chopped challenge, this will go in "my cookbook" from now on, it's downright DELICIOUS!!!!

How To Make inside out brauten

  • 1
Steam your cauliflower till tender. As cauliflower is cooling, in a saute pan or small saucepan, add your vinegars and salt & sugar, and spices. Bring to a rapid boil. Add your cauliflower and reduce heat and simmer for about 7-10 minutes. Taste. You will know the cauliflower is done when there is a vinegary/salty/sweet taste to it. Remove to a paper lined bowl. Set aside.

In a saute pan, add your oil. Once the oil is heated, add your onions, let cook for about 1-2 minutes till starting to carmelize, add your coleslaw. Stir around till all the coleslaw has been incorporated with the oil. No excess oil will remain now. Add your spices. Cook for 5-7 minutes till cabbage has softned. Remove unto paper lined plate. Set aside.

On a flat surface, sprinkle a little flour and unroll your pizza crust. Sprinkle a little flour on top and roll out to your left and right, making as much of a rectangle as you can. Not perfect? Don't worry about it. Cut in half diagonally.

Spread 1-1/2 tbls of mayonnaise on each half. Spread with 1 tbls of mustard (I used just plain yellow).
  • 5
Spread coleslaw (about 3/4 cup) over each half of the pizza crust.
  • 6
Add about 1/3 cup or so of the pickled cauliflower ontop of the coleslaw mixture.
  • 7
Now cut your hotdogs in half vertically. Place one hotdog side by side to top part of pizza crust. Add the other hotdog underneath that, then the 1/2 of hot dog at the end.

Working with the side 'away' from you. Take the end piece of the crust and fold over, now take the furthest away from you dough, and fold over the mixture. Take the top end of the crust, fold over, and then working with the crust closest to you, fold over the rest of the mixture. Make sure no holes are showing.

  • So good!! Total gathering food, with a cold beer, the men in your lives will be in heaven!!
