Ingredients
- 2 slices day old wheat bread, crusts removed
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 - egg, lightly beaten
- 2 - shallots, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon sage, chopped
- 1 pound bulk sausage
- 1 large granny smith apple, peeled, shredded
- - salt & pepper to taste
- - handful of fresh cranberries for garnish
How To Make easy sausage and apple stuffing

Step 1Heat oven to 350. Cut the bread into small cubes. Place bread in a bowl. Pour broth over bread, let sit 5 mins.

Step 2Mash bread w/ a fork, stir in egg. Stir in shallots and sage. Add sausage, ( broken up,) and apple. season w/ salt and pepper. Mix with hands until combined.

Step 3Spoon mix into a square baking dish. Bake 30 mins. Garnish w/ a handful of cranberries.
