Ingredients
- 1 large apple, peeled and sliced
- 3 teaspoons butter, soft
- 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 3 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 4 slices raisin bread
- 2 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 slices ham
How To Make cinnamon apple/ham and cheese sandwich

Step 1In a large skillet sauté apple slices and walnuts in 1 teaspoon butter and all the honey over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes or until lightly tender and lightly toasted.Remove apple slices to a small bowl and set aside.

Step 2In a small bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar and cinnamon until smooth. Stir in walnut mixture. Spread over 2 slices of the bread; layer with cheddar cheese, apple and ham slices and remaining bread. Spread remaining butter over the outsides of each sandwich.

Step 3In a large nonstick panini maker or skillet coated with cooking spray, toast sandwiches for 1 to 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cheese is melted. (Can make in George Formann Grill)
