How to Make Asian Inspired Slow Cooker Ribs

Step-by-Step

  1. Gather your ingredients.
  2. Mix the spices together in a small bowl.
  3. Use your fingers to break up the brown sugar… A chef’s best tools are his/her hands.
  4. Remove the silver skin, by cutting under it, and then using a paper towel to grab and pull it off the ribs.
  5. Cut the ribs into sections that will fit into your slow cooker.
  6. Sprinkle the spices onto the ribs and rub.
  7. Add the water to the slow cooker.
  8. Add the ribs.
  9. Cook on low for about 6 hours.
  10. Chef’s Tip: At the end of the 6 hours, the rib meat should be tender and separate easily from the bone.
  11. Slice the ribs into individual pieces, and add some sauce.
  12. Serve while still warm. Enjoy.
  13. Keep the faith, and keep cooking.
