How to Make Asian Inspired Slow Cooker Ribs

Step-by-Step

  • 1Gather your ingredients.
  • 2Mix the spices together in a small bowl.
  • 3Use your fingers to break up the brown sugar… A chef’s best tools are his/her hands.
  • 4Remove the silver skin, by cutting under it, and then using a paper towel to grab and pull it off the ribs.
  • 5Cut the ribs into sections that will fit into your slow cooker.
  • 6Sprinkle the spices onto the ribs and rub.
  • 7Add the water to the slow cooker.
  • 8Add the ribs.
  • 9Cook on low for about 6 hours.
  • 10Chef’s Tip: At the end of the 6 hours, the rib meat should be tender and separate easily from the bone.
  • 11Slice the ribs into individual pieces, and add some sauce.
  • 12Serve while still warm. Enjoy.
  • 13Keep the faith, and keep cooking.
