Ingredients For 6 layer sausage casserole

  • 1 lb
    pork sausage
  • 1/2 c
    onions chopped
  • 1/2 c
    uncooked rice
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 c
    ( about 4 med ) pototoes sliced
  • 1 c
    sliced raw carrots
  • 1 1/2 c
    canned tomatoes
  • salt and pepper to taste.

How To Make 6 layer sausage casserole

  • 1
    In place of pork sausage Beef,or Italian sauasge can be used.
  • 2
    partly cook sausage, breaking up into small pieces, and drain well.

    place sausage in a casserole dish and layer with rice, potatoes, onion, carrots, add tomatoes with juice.

    combine salt, pepper, and sugar, and sprinkle over the top of vegatables. cover dish and bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours.
