homemade spaghetti sauce
This sauce is incredible. One of my own concoctions but good enough for a marriage proposal. Simmering this sauce just makes it better. The batch is large enough to freeze some for later use. If there is any left!

Ingredients
- 3 pounds ground beef
- 2 - green peppers seeds removed and chopped
- 2 - onions chopped
- 1 can mushrooms
- 2 large cans of tomato sauce
- 2 large cans of tomatoes
- 2 cans tomato paste
- 1 can tomato juice
- 1 - salt and pepper (season to taste)
- 2 - bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon sweet basil
- 2 teaspoons oregano
- 1 - garlic to taste
How To Make homemade spaghetti sauce

Step 1Brown ground beef and add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 8 hours. Remove bay leaves before serving. This sauce can be frozen or canned to use at a later time. NOTE: Spices should be adjusted to your taste. This sauce is quite mellow.
