Ingredients
- 1 box linguine or fettucine
- 2 large chicken breasts, or 1 turkey breast half, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups half & half
- 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- - salt & pepper to taste
- - fresh parsley and parmesan cheese for garnishing
How To Make chicken pasta alfredo

Step 1Cook pasta according to package directions.

Step 2Heat olive oil and butter in nonstick skillet. Add the chicken. Sprinkle garlic salt and dried parsley on the chicken. Cook for until thoroughly done. Remove from pan, keep warm.

Step 3Mix flour into pan drippings until well blended. Then add half & half and sour cream . Stir until thoroughly combined, stirring constantly. Add parmesan cheese and continue to heat over medium low heat until cheese is melted and well incorporated into the sauce.

Step 4Stir together chicken and pasta into sauce. Sprinkle with a bit more parmesan cheese and fresh chopped parsley!
