How To Make betty's bacon, chili and tomato pasta sauce
-
Step 1In a large skillet/frying pan, heat the butter. Add the onions and cook until translucent (about 3-4 minutes). Add the bacon, garlic and chili flakes. Continue to cook and fry until fragrant (about 3 minutes)
-
Step 2Add the remaining ingredients (use the water to "swish" around the passata/tomato sauce and canned tomato jars/tins to get everthing out).
-
Step 3Once at a boil, reduce heat to a simmer and cook for a further 5-7 minutes. Serve over prepared hot pasta.
