This has become a weekly/bi-weekly staple in our Keto household. Much like crustless pizza where we don't actually miss the crust, this is something that helps us not miss the pasta in spaghetti.

Ingredients

  • - salt and pepper, to taste
  • onion powder, to taste
  • garlic powder, to taste
  • 1 pound ground beef (or meat of your choice)
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 medium cabbage, chopped
  • 1 jar Rao's sugar-free marinara (or sugar-free sauce of choice)
  • optional - crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 - 1/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

How To Make ground beef, cabbage, and marinara

  • Step 1
    Season and brown ground beef and onion until almost done.
  • Step 2
    Add chopped cabbage and stir frequently until almost soft.
  • Step 3
    Pour in marinara sauce and add red pepper flakes if using.
  • Step 4
    Stir to combine and let cook down until heated through. I generally let mine simmer after it's good and mixed for about 30 min to allow any juice to evaporate.
  • Step 5
    Top with cheese if using, put a lid on and let melt. Serve and enjoy.
