8 mediumslices bread, crusts removed
4 mediumtomatoes, sliced
4 ozcheddar cheese, grated
1 clow-fat milk
·sea salt to taste
·freshly ground black pepper to taste
How to Make CHEESY TOMATO BAKE
- Slice the bread slices in half diagonally and place them in an ovenproof dish (9x13"). Place the tomato slices between the bread slices. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the milk, eggs, pesto, salt and pepper. Pour the mixture over the bread mixture and let it rest for 5-10 minutes.
- In the center of a preheated 400º oven, bake for 20 minutes or until golden on top. Serve while hot.
