This recipe has been my friend for over thirty years! It tastes as good today as it did back then. It has made many tummy’s happy over the years! Simple, delicious and a quick fix!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 15 ounces whole kernel corn, drained
  • 2 cans red kidney beans, drained
  • 2 cans tomato soup
  • 4 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup green onions, sliced
  • - sour cream for topping
  • - shredded cheddar cheese for topping

How To Make burr street chili con carne

  • Step 1
    Put all ingredients into a large heavy skillet and simmer until thick. Garnish with green table onions, cheddar cheese and sour cream. You can eat this on a plate or use it as an appetizer with tortilla chips or corn chips.
