sweet & salty caramelized bacon twists (easy)

A sweet and salty "twist" on ordinary bacon. A wonderful addition to any breakfast buffet yet easy enough for every day... my kind of recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound hickory or applewood smoked bacon (black pepper bacon is also good)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

How To Make sweet & salty caramelized bacon twists (easy)

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Cut length of bacon in half. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon in plastic bag. Dip bacon in sugar mixture and twist. Place on parchment or foil lined baking sheet.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes until crisp.
