Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil, divided
  • 2 medium
    sweet red peppers, sliced
  • 1 medium
    onion, halved and sliced
  • 4 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 pkg
    (12 oz.) fully cooked italian sausage links, halved lengthwise and sliced
  • 2 Tbsp
    balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    minced fresh parsley
  • 2 tsp
    minced fresh rosemary
  • ·
    hot cooked spiral pasta
  • ·
    shredded parmesan cheese

How to Make SAUSAGE WITH PASTA & HERBS

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large skillet, heat 1 Tbsp. oil over medium-high heat. Add red peppers and onion; cook and stir 6-8 minutes or until crisp-tender. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Remove from pan.
  2. In the same pan, heat remaining oil over medium-high heat. Add sausage; cook and stir until browned. Stir in pepper mixture, vinegar, salt and pepper; heat through. Stir in herbs.
  3. Serve with hot pasta; sprinkle with Parmesan.
