It just occurred to me that I didn't have my good ole standby pork roast recipe posted, so while I was making it today I thought I would add it.

Ingredients

  • 1
    pork loin, boneless
  • 1 medium
    leek, washed and sliced, white and light green parts only
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    parsley flakes
  • 1/2 tsp
    sage, dried
  • 1/8 tsp
    rosemary, dried
  • 1/8 tsp
    thyme, dried
  • 1 1/2 c
    chicken bouillon or broth

How to Make ELLEN'S SLOW-COOKER ROAST PORK LOIN

Step-by-Step

  1. In a bowl, mix together salt, pepper, garlic powder, parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme until well blended.
  2. Rub mixture over pork loin, covering all sides. Place pork into a greased slow cooker. Add the chicken broth and cover.
  3. Cook on LOW setting for five hours or until pork is fork-tender. May add vegetables such as potatoes and carrots or onions the last couple of hours if desired.
