Makes a Wonderful Sausage Gravy also.

Ingredients

GRIND PORK'S (2) TIMES THRU SAUSAGE GRINDER

6 lb
lean pork
3 lb
pork fat

ADD: REMAINING INGREDIENTS, & MIX WELL,

4 Tbsp
sage
2 Tbsp
pepper
2 Tbsp
salt
2 tsp
cloves
2 tsp
mace
1
whole nutmeg (grated)
1 Tbsp
pepper
1 Tbsp
cayenne pepper (optional)

RUN THRU GRINDER ONCE AGAIN.

Step-by-Step

  • 1Follow Directions ABOVE in These Ingredients & MIX WELL!
  • 2Shape into Patties, Not too Thick, Flatten Nicely.
    Place on Baking Sheets, FREEZE, Then Place in Freezer Bags & Seal
    (I use Vacuum Sealing as in Seal a meal)
    Label & Date all Pkgs.
  • 3Remove from Freezer, Thaw, Then Fry until Browned on both sides.
    Enjoy for Breakfast.
