Ingredients
- 1 - speghetti squash (baking directions below)
- 1 jar your favorite speghetti sauce
- 1 package 2 cups shredded cheese (i used 4 state cheddar)
- 1/2 box penne rigate (8 oz's)
How To Make speghetti squash and pasta casserole

Step 1I cooked the spaghetti squash earlier in the day by cutting it in half the long way and removing the seeds then put it in a 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes. Then you take it out and with a fork you shred the inside by scrapping down the squash to remove the inside. set a side.

Step 2In a 9 inch square baking pan or oblong baking dish put the uncooked noodles the jar of sauce and the cooked spaghetti squash. Mix well and add 1 cup water (yes water you can bake any pasta in the oven if you add a cup of water added to the sauce). Mix well. Pour the cheese over top and cover with aluminium foil and bake for 45-50 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Serve hot.
