Ingredients
- 4-6 - chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless
- 1 package taco seasoning mix
- 1 1/2 cups salsa, your favorite kind
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- - shredded lettuce
- - sour cream
How To Make southwest chicken breast

Step 1Preheat oven to 375. Spray a baking dish with non-stick spray. Rub each chicken breast with taco seasoning and lay in the baking dish.

Step 2Pour 1 cup of salsa over the chicken breasts and pop in the oven. Bake until the chicken is done. Actual times will vary depending on the size of your chicken breast.

Step 3Remove the chicken from the oven and sprinkle shredded cheese on each. Place back in the oven just to melt the cheese. Once the cheese has melted, set aside to rest a minute.

Step 4Serve on a bed of shredded lettuce with a dollop of sour cream on top and a side of tortilla chips.
