- 16 ounces ground turkey or chicken breast
- 1 medium apple, peeled, seeded, and finely grated
- 1/2 cup cooked brown rice
- 2 - tablespoons, finely grated onion
- 2 cloves garlic, finely grated
- 1 1/2 - teaspoons ground sage
- 1 - teaspoon salt
- 1/2 - teaspoon ground red pepper
- 1/2 - teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 - teaspoon dried tyme
- 1/4 - teaspoon allspice

Step 1Mix all ingredients until very well blended by using your hands or a mixer.

Step 2Separate into patties or use in your favorite recipes containing sausage. To keep calories low use cooking spray instead of oils to cook your sausage.
