Ingredients

COUNTRY POT PIE FILLING (COMFORT FOOD)

2boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into bite sized pieces ( do not skimp)
-
1 ccelery, chopped
-
1 smallonion, chopped
-
3-4 mediumsized carrots chopped
-
3-4 mediumsized potatoes peeled and chopped into bit sized pieces
-
·salt & pepper to taste
-
1/2 tspgarlic, minced or garlic powder
-
1/2 tspground thyme
-
4 Tbspbutter or margarine - will work also
-
1 can(s)(15 oz) mixed vegies, or veg-all, (drained)
-
1 can(s)(10oz) cream of chicken soup, (undiluted)

3/4 cchicken broth
-
CRUST FOR POT PIE
-
1 cbisquick (note: more is bigger batch can be doubled)

1/2 cmilk or canned milk
-
1 largeegg
How to Make Grandma's Country Pot Pie By Freda
- CRUST: In separate Bowl, Mix together Crust ingredients, mix well.
Pour this evenly over the Filling, Bake in Oven @ 400 Degrees for 30-40 minutes til golden brown on top and Bubbly.
Note: Can be made with Burger, beef or Ham, Also tuna.
