My favorite way to eat these are with country gravy... but a good honey mustard or a chipotle ranch is certainly delicious too.
Omit the cayenne for a non spicy option for the kids :)

Ingredients

  • 4
    chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 4 c
    italian bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp
    chefs seasoning no salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp
    kosher salt
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • ·
    canola oil for frying

How to Make Crispy & Spicy Chicken Breast Strips

Step-by-Step

  1. Cut chicken breast in half, longwise, as if you were butterflying but cut completely apart.
  2. Cut pieces into strips.
  3. Mix dry ingredients together in shallow dish and beat eggs in another dish.
  4. Dip chicken strips into beaten egg.
  5. Then roll chicken in the bread crumb mixture while turning and pressing the crumbs onto the strips firmly.
  6. add canola oil to frying pan about 1/4 - 1/2 inch deep. Heat on med high then add chicken.
  7. Cook on both sides until nice dark golden brown about 3-5 minutes per side.
  8. Drain on paper towel and serve with your favorite dipping sauce or country gravy. Yummilicious!
