Chicken in basil-tomato cream sauce
1 Tbspbutter, melted
1/2 cchopped onion
116 oz can whole tomatoes, chopped
1/2 clight cream
1/2 cfresh basil, chopped
1/2 tspeach, salt and pepper
6boneless, skinless chicken breasts
How to Make Chicken in basil-tomato cream sauce
- Melt butter in lg skillet over medium heat. Add onion, cook for 5 mins. Increase heat to high. Add tomatoes. Cook until liquid is absorbed.
- Add cream. Cook until slightly thickened. Remove skillet from heat. Add basil, salt and pepper, stir to combine. Place chicken in caaerole dish.
- Pour sauce over chicken and bake at 450 for 15 -20 mins, or until chicken is no longer pink inside.
