I may have / should have posted this on a month ago, but if you're like me, Corn Beef and Cabbage can be eaten anytime of the year... These turn out fantastic on the grill... You could also do it in a hot skillet too... I looked through my files and there are a lot of Burgers left to post... After I get finished with the series there will be enough for an All Burger Cook Book! Wow!!! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds corn beef brisket
  • 1 clove garlic - minced
  • 1 pound small new potatoes - peeled - cooked - mashed
  • 1/2 - cabbage head - cored - chopped- cooked - drained
  • 1 large carrot - shredded - chopped fine
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish ( optional )
  • 1 tablespoon mustard ( optional )
  • 1 teaspoon fresh cracked balck pepper - or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon course sea salt - or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon corriander seeds - cracked
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons fresh zested lemon

How To Make fireman bob's fire house burger # 4 irish burger

  • Step 1
    Ask your meat man to grind the corn beef so you have ground corn beef
  • Step 2
    Place the corn beef, garlic, mashed potatoes, cabbage, carrot, egg, horseradish, mustard, pepper, salt, corriander seeds, lemon juice, and zest
  • Step 3
    Mix all ingredients till just combined. Form mixture into patties 1 inch thick. Set aside for 10 minutes
  • Step 4
    Place Burgers on hot grill or skillet and cook 8 minutes side one, flip and cook additional 6 minutes or till done Enjoy !!!
