Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • 3 lb
    beef rump roast
  • 1 large
    (29 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 2 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp
    anise seed
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 medium
    onion, chopped
  • 2 large
    green peppers, cut in half lengthwise

How to Make WORLD'S MOST AWESOME ROAST BEEF SANDWICH

Step-by-Step

  1. Slice the rump roast thin. Place in slow-cooker and cook until no longer pink, about 1 to 2 hours on HIGH with 1 cup water added.
  2. Add remaining ingredients (except green pepper) and continue cooking on LOW for 6-8 hours.
  3. Half an hour before serving, add green peppers. Serve on French bread or over mashed potatoes.
