Sunday Meatloaf, Iris

iris mccall

Making this with parmigiano mashed potatoes and stir fry vegetables. I make a big loaf for the sake of leftovers. (Hope, hope)!!! I added 2 packages of seasonings because it's a lot of meat. Scale yours back as needed.

How to Make Sunday Meatloaf, Iris

  1. Gather your ground chuck, turkey, and turkey italian sausages. Remove the sausage from casings and place in large mixing bowl.
  2. Add the two eggs, panko, milk. Then add seasoning bag mix, onion, bell pepper and milk. Mix all together well and refrigerate for 30 minutes so it is easier to handle.
  3. After taking from the fridge, shape into loaf form. I had to do this because I don't own loaf pans. If you have loaf pans this amount will easily fill 2.
  4. Put your loaf in an 8x11" pan , spray the top of loaf and cover with foil, this will keep the meat from sticking to the foil. bake in the oven for 1 hour to and hour and a half. Checking for doneness after 1 hour 10 minutes.
  5. After removing from the oven, let loaf rest 15 to 20 minutes before glazing. We love the combination of famous Dave's devil's spit, dijon mustard and ketchup. Hope you like it.
