1 can(s)diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained
1/2 lblean ground beef
2 pkg(4 oz.ea.) velveeta cheese sauce, original, divided
1 can(s)(11 oz.) refrigerated thin crust pizza dough
1 cshredded lettuce
How to Make SPICY VELVEETA PIZZA PIE
- Drain tomatoes, reserving liquid. Brown meat in medium skillet, adding reserved liquid from tomatoes for the last 5 minutes; drain. Return meat to skillet; stir in half the cheese sauce.
- Unroll pizza dough; cut in half. Press half the dough into bottom and up side of a 9-inch pie plate. Spread meat onto bottom crust. Top with tomatoes and half the remaining cheese sauce.
- Roll out remaining dough to 9-inch circle; place over pie. Seal edges with fork.
- Bake in a preheated 400º oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Top with lettuce and remaining cheese sauce.
