Ingredients

  • 1 can diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained
  • 1/2 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 packages (4 oz.ea.) velveeta cheese sauce, original, divided
  • 1 can (11 oz.) refrigerated thin crust pizza dough
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce

How To Make spicy velveeta pizza pie

  • Step 1
    Drain tomatoes, reserving liquid. Brown meat in medium skillet, adding reserved liquid from tomatoes for the last 5 minutes; drain. Return meat to skillet; stir in half the cheese sauce.
  • Step 2
    Unroll pizza dough; cut in half. Press half the dough into bottom and up side of a 9-inch pie plate. Spread meat onto bottom crust. Top with tomatoes and half the remaining cheese sauce.
  • Step 3
    Roll out remaining dough to 9-inch circle; place over pie. Seal edges with fork.
  • Step 4
    Bake in a preheated 400º oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Top with lettuce and remaining cheese sauce.
