1beef chuck roast (about 3 pounds)
1onion (quartered or sliced)
1 can(s)beef broth (10.5 ounces)
1 pkgdry au jus mix (1 ounce-i used mccormick)
1 pkgdry italian salad dressing mix (.7 ounce)
1/2 tspground black pepper
How to Make Slow Cooker Italian Beef Roast by Cully's Kitchen
- Place chuck roast in the slow cooker and slice the onion around it. Add the beef broth and the rest of the ingredients. Cook on low for 9-10 hours or until roast is tender.
- (If this is too long turn the slow cooker on high after 5 or 6 hours to decrease the cooking time). Serve the beef hot with the gravy. Add mashed potatoes and a vegetable and you have a great dinner.
